Moonbin Dies: Singer With South Korean Boy Band Astro Was 25

South Korean singer and actor Moon Bin is most known for being a part of the K-pop boy band ASTRO. He was born in Cheongju, South Korea, on January 26, 1998.

As a young actor, Moon Bin had appearances in a number of dramas and motion pictures, such as "Boys Over Flowers" and "The Miracle." He began working for Fantagio Entertainment as a trainee in 2015. Along with JinJin, MJ, Cha Eun-woo, Rocky, and Yoon San-ha, he made his ASTRO debut in 2016.



Moon Bin has produced a number of popular songs as a member of ASTRO, including "Hide & Seek," "Baby," and "All Night." The group has also received numerous honours, including the Bonsang award at the 2017 and 2018 Seoul Music Awards as well as the New Artist of the Year award at the 2016 Melon Music Awards.



Moon Bin has tried acting as well, making appearances in a number of dramas, such as "Moment at Eighteen" and "The Mermaid Prince." Along with his work with ASTRO, he has also presented a number of TV programmes and has appeared as a guest on variety shows.



In addition to his charisma and sense of humour, Moon Bin is highly recognised for his dancing and singing abilities.


He is regarded as one of the K-pop industry's emerging talents and has a sizable fan base both in South Korea and abroad.
